A lot of what we do now is find horses new homes that might not be in the right home, or the owner is no longer able to keep
up with horse management, time or facility.
Aged Horses - We have recently taken in a number of elderly horses. We have started a kind of retirement home as well
as if they are able, we attempt find them homes where they can teach new riders or handlers.
Young - performance - "Pets" - We also take in younger or performance horses that owners may no longer be able
to afford to keep a horse or find that they don't have enough time for them. We will invest in these horses needs and rehome
them, where they can be taken care of and used.
We also take in horses wherein the owners may not realize what type of care they need and rehabilitate them and rehome.
Among these purposes we also assist Kay-Lee in managing her Cattle herd which has grown a lot. We have now started using
the horses to move cattle more then ever and as such do need to keep a few ranch horses around, Addison has once more started
competing so keeps a few for different events.
Lessons are beginning again as well as we hope to be running some kids camps in the coming year so some of the stock we
own will also be used to teach youth.
We also hope to return to the breeding quality Paints, Quarter Horses and Appy's in the near future.
We still offer the service of assisting with sales and purchases of horses, if people are short of time or knowledge.
I felt it was important that this page be added to our little site as recently we have had a number of persons question
our motives. We do not and have not sold horses for meat, and although the market dose exist we try to encourage any use
full horse regardless of age a home.
